Michael has been based at one of our established clients for the past two years, providing support for their global workforce. He is responsible for their IT infrastructure, supporting everything from desktop through to server and network management.
Whilst on site Michael acts as the escalation point for all IT issues, from simple helpdesk requests through to the deployment of new servers and storage. Michael liaises with external service providers and the rest of the team at Solab to provide a high standard of IT support for the client at their offices in Aberdeen and their mobile workforce.
His responsibilities include looking after IT security, deployment of hardware, installation of software, phone system support and backup of data (including the replication of data to offsite to provide a full disaster recovery plan for the business).
During his time at Solab, Michael has provided support to a range of clients, and has delivered training classes at both our own training suite and at client offices
