Role: Managing Director

Joined Solab: 4th July 1991

Key Responsibilities:

Kevin is the Managing Director of Solab, the IT Services company he formed in 1991 in Aberdeen which is now in its 25th year. He is also the Founder of Onboard Tracker, an Oil & Gas industry workforce planning, training and competence software company.

In addition to his day jobs, Kevin also has various other business interests including commercial and residential property management.

With a wealth of knowledge in the IT Services, software development and oil & gas industries, Kevin’s drive, experience and professionalism coupled with his honest, open and friendly nature has helped him develop a team of fantastic people at Solab and Onboard Tracker who reflect his commitment to diligence and creativity.

He is very proud to have built the company from a small, Aberdeen focussed technology business to one that now supports the day to day operations of a large client base around the world. His success is founded upon simple principles: listening to clients, understanding their needs and using technology to solve their business challenges.

Kevin is very thankful that his business interests, coupled with his passion for cars, skiing and scuba diving, have given him the opportunity to see many countries and experience different cultures. A devoted family man, Kevin now has 3 grown up children of his own, having moved to Aberdeen at a young age with his ever supportive parents and brothers.
