Solab has been sponsoring the Judy Murray Foundation (JMF) and their mission to bring tennis into rural and disadvantaged areas in Scotland since its inception in 2017.

We have been working in partnership with the foundation as their Technology Sponsor, managing their email, domains and providing agile IT support.

The JMF is promoting active families and working with communities across Scotland to make tennis an accessible and more affordable sport for everyone.  The most famous sporting Mum is Scotland has a passion for teaching tennis and growing the game in areas you might not expect.

A number of exciting projects have been delivered in the last three years including building a local workforce in Inverurie working alongside Garioch Sports ahead of their new Tennis Centre, approved late 2019.

The support Solab have provided to the Foundation has not gone unnoticed. Melodie Crumlin, the foundation’s recently appointed CEO, says;

“Solab’s commitment to JMF has allowed us to concentrate on our core activity of bringing tennis into rural and disadvantaged areas of Scotland and capitalising on  Judy, Andy and Jamie Murray’s amazing international standing to create a legacy for this country.  Their no-jargon approach makes our IT operations feel simple and worry free.”

Next week, Judy Murray, will be joining our weekly online Gin & Tonic social to update staff and clients on what the charity has been up to and how it is supporting hundreds of people to lead and coach in their own communities whilst giving families an opportunity to try tennis and experience the buzz of playing together.

Kevin Coll, Solab’s Managing Director, commented;

“Solab is incredibly proud to work alongside JMF in their journey of ‘Everyone for Tennis, Everywhere for Tennis’.   Our team has been quietly supporting from the ‘sidelines’ helping their team stay connected for the past three years and we are excited to see what’s next for the foundation”.
