Solab and Onboard Tracker were delighted to help sponsor a group of 15 members of the Boys’ Brigade to take part in a day’s Climbing and Abseiling during their annual Summer Camp.

Scale new heights!

For many young people, there is no better feeling than to reach the top of a climb or by doing their first abseil. A member of our IT Support team, Michael, is a Leader in the Boys’ Brigade and helped to organise the Summer Camp near Aviemore this year.

The Boys spent one day on a series of routes on a crag at Kingussie, the capital of Badenoch in the Scottish Highlands, receiving expert tuition and safety advice, including how to belay for others, from their instructors.

The Boys ranged in age from 10 to 18 and came from across Aberdeen.

The Boys thoroughly enjoyed the day, with some Boys being introduced to the activity for the first time, whilst others, with more experience, being able to put this into practice on some of the more difficult climbs.

Other activities the Boys enjoyed on their week long trip included kayaking, hill walking and mountain biking.
