We are excited to introduce Ewelina Kloska to Solab as our new Finance Administrator.
Ewelina recently worked for Aberdeen Performing Arts and now joins Solab’s Finance department, where she will support the team with the day-to-day running of the business.
To welcome her to Solab, we caught up with Ewelina to learn more about her career to date, what she is looking forward to in her new role and her hobbies are outside of work.
What’s your career background?
I have a background in accounting and finance, with experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and month-end processes. Most recently, I worked as an Accounts Assistant for Aberdeen Performing Arts.
What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
Joining a new company is always an exciting time and I am looking forward to getting to know my new colleagues and learn from their experiences. I am also excited to challenge myself, develop my skillset and make a meaningful contribution to the business.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?
The best advice I’ve ever been given is to focus on what I can control and not waste energy worrying about things outside of it. It’s a reminder to stay calm under pressure and be kind to yourself when things don’t go to plan.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Trying to learn Italian has been my biggest challenge – I have still got a bit to go!
When you were five years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was five years old, I wanted to be a detective. I loved solving puzzles and figuring out how everything worked.
