The Role


This newly created position encompasses all things finance and administration for our busy, fast growing Digital Technology and Software companies. Reporting directly to Senior Management, and working with our existing finance and admin team, you will be hands on whilst also guiding and implementing strategic improvement across the entire business administration.


Business Support Officer

Skills and experience:


  • Highly IT literate and confident in picking up new systems and processes
  • Have Sage accounts experience in SOP and POP or equivalent
  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Professional, friendly and approachable with a can-do attitude
  • Strong Excel and Office Skills
  • Ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines
  • Enjoys working as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Be able to multitask
  • Excellent English, both written and oral


  • IT, MSP or Software company experience
  • Knowledge of software licensing and billing
  • ISO co-ordination or internal auditing
  • Accounting experience to P&L / Balance Sheet
  • Contract / PO T’s & C’s review experience


  • A strong work ethic and desire to complete works to a high standard
  • A quick and keen learner of new technologies and tools
  • Methodical and aware of the sustainability of their output
  • Effective interpersonal communication and strong problem-solving skills – excellent communication to external and internal teams
  • Strong attention to detail and task ownership skills
  • Capable of quickly learning business processes
  • Must enjoy deep diving into technical topics, sharing your knowledge with co-workers and the community
  • Enjoy working and socialising in a team


  • Strong communication, business and technical skills that allow you to liaise with sales, marketing and technology teams as well as customers, users and management
  • Problem solving and analytical thinking skills with the ability to approach problems logically and systematically
  • Well-organised and a self-starter, having the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Understands the business implications of decisions, the capabilities and limitations of technology
  • Ability to distil abstract ideas into detailed requirements
