Course Overview
In this course students will learn about a number of Internet topics. The course includes an in-depth introduction to Internet Explorer 7 and delegates will learn how to browse the Web, use hyperlinks, work with favourites, and use the History list. They will learn about searching the Internet, as well as how to save, print, and zoom in on a Web page. They will also customize the browser environment and explore privacy and security options.
The course is designed to give maximum ‘hands-on’ experience to the individuals
rather than involving a lecture situation. In order to attain this each participant will have his or her own personal computer to work on.
Course Pre-requisites
Knowledge of Windows and experience with a PC will be presumed, therefore, it is advisable to register participants on our “Introduction to Computing” course prior to attending, should this experience be lacking.
